Kids can learn about Harriet Tubman and local connections to the Underground Railroad at the History Center on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We invite children ages 7-12 to join our program, Monday, Jan. 15, held from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Numerous Niagara County sites served as stops on the Underground Railroad, as fleeing slaves made their way to safety across the Niagara River into Canada.
The fee is $10 per child. The program includes games, crafts, other activities and a snack. Please register children for the program in advance by calling 434-7433.
