The Traveling Towpath Troubadours will cruise to Lockport to entertain us as Chiavetta’s Chicken BBQ offers dinner fare, all beside the Canal, just outside the Erie Canal Discovery Center.
Chiavetta’s will serve their famous chicken dinner from 5-7 p.m., and the Towpath Troubadours will perform from 6-8 p.m. Admission is free. The History Center will benefit from a percentage of dinner sales. In the event of rain, the Discovery Center will house the program.
Troubadours Bill and Kay McDonald are journeying along the Canal once again this summer, performing in communities along the way. Come hear music of the 1960s and ‘70s, plus original compositions.
This program is made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts and the Go Art! Program, in partnership with the Orleans County Chamber of Commerce.
Plan to bring your lawn chairs and settle in to enjoy a summer evening of music, food and fun along the Erie Canal in Lockport. Call the History Center for details at 434-7433.
