Freida Jacques, a Clan Mother of the Onondaga Nation, will present “Haudenosaunee 101.” Jacques will offer fundamental information on the Iroquois Confederacy, drawn from her first-hand life experiences and understanding of her culture. As part of her 90-minute program, Jacques will also invite the audience to ask questions and engage with her accounts of Iroquois life.

This presentation is made possible by a grant from the Humanities New York Public Scholar program.
