FALL BEADWORK CLASS TO MAKE NEEDLE CASE – Learn to make a beaded needle case in a four-session class at the Niagara History Center beginning Tuesday, Sept. 20. Instructor Stephanie Drehs will lead a class in creating and beading the needle case. Drehs is an award-winning local artist who is skilled at beadwork, quilting and embroidery.
The class, suitable for beginners and experienced bead students, will meet Sept 20, Sept 27, Oct. 4 and Oct. 18, from 4-6 p.m. Classes will be held at the History Center’s 215 Niagara St. site.
The class fee is $50. Bead kits for the class are available from the teacher for $25. Additional beads are sold in the History Center’s Outwater Emporium Gift Shop.
