Beads Available

Stephanie Drehs will teach the basics of raised bead embroidery as you create this floral, leafy bracelet.  A variety of sizes are offered so you can make the bracelet to fit your wrist.  We will stitch glass beads of varying sizes to a base material, back it with a cotton fabric & apply a closure of your choice.

In order to keep within social distancing but still be prepared for class, you can still purchase your beads before the rush. You can leave a message with Ray; director of the Erie Canal Discovery Center. Please leave your name, number, and the best time to reach you. We will get back to you to place your order and set up the best time for pickup. Your order will be placed by the front door, where you can pick it up at the designated time.

Thank you for your patience and consideration as we try to come up with new ways to continue our events while remaining socially distant.

You may also place your order and register by calling the Niagara County Historical Society at (716) 434-7433.

You may bring your own supplies, or if you prefer a kit, you may purchase one for a $25.00 fee payable to the teacher.  You will receive a needs list upon registering. The kit will include everything you need to create the project.
