Over one hundred years ago, the Harrison Radiator Company took up residence in the building at 57 Canal St. The company went on to join General Motors and became the largest manufacture of radiators in the world. This dedication of the new Harrison Radiator Marker, located at the original plant of the Harrison Radiator Company, took place during the very successful 2021 Locktoberfest. Thank you to all those who participated and assisted in making this day possible.
Pictured below is Paul Iskalo, President of Iskalo Development, David Stockton of Cornerstone Lockport, who was instrumental in making this historic marker a reality, and Melissa Dunlap; Executive Director of the History Center and committee member, Ken Johnson; Plant Manager of General Motors in Lockport, David Kinyon; History Center Board Member, and Lockport Mayor Michelle Roman who also spoke during the dedication.
